Title:  Data Scientist

Job Summary

Enable the Cloud Operations Product group to dissect their vast customer and product base using state of the art data science technologies for maximum business impact.  The capabilities we are looking for include the ability to identify and frame business problems, design analytical approaches, and derive meaningful insights from data. The ideal candidate can effectively and rapidly work with large datasets, align with business leaders, collaborate with cross-functional resources, and effectively communicate results to leadership. The candidate is expected to be a key player in the setup of the groups machine learning and data mining strategy. 

Job Requirements

•    Analyze and manipulate large datasets
•    Utilize machine learning technologies and algorithms, predictive modeling and data mining techniques to gain critical business insights
•    Utilize AI technologies to dissect and analyze internal information
•    Present complex data in a visually appealing way using data visualization tools
•    Communicate effectively with stakeholders

Education

•    Expert Data Scientist, minimum of 6+ years in Data Science and 8+ years of IT experience
•    Strong background in SAAS technologies, modern application architectures and modern application infrastructure
•    Proficiency in quantitative analysis, data manipulation and statistical modeling
•    Excellent ability to work with people, communicate effectively, and work remotely
•    Excellent organizational skills with ability to prioritize and work independently
•    Passionate about this job, always willing to learn new skills, and eager to innovate
•    Able to dig deep, peel back layers of data to find potential root causes within the data 
•    You love making things more efficient.
•    Bachelor or Master's degree in relevant discipline from a reputable university or department
•    Ideally experience with DataRobot AI platform
•    Ideally working knowledge of public cloud marketplace operations

Essential Skills:
•    Fast learner with the desire to constantly improve and stay on top of business and technological developments
•    Expert Tableau and Power BI knowledge
•    Expert SQL, R and Python knowledge
•    Ability to deliver reliably exclusively high-quality work according to given deadlines
