Job Summary

 

The Partner Manager (PM) is assigned to one or several partners and is responsible for driving sales of NetApp's products and services, meeting sales goals, and promoting a preference for NetApp among partners through effective strategy and execution. The PM is responsible for partner account performance, increasing penetration and maximizing potential within partner accounts, and translating company strategy into execution.

Responsibilities

 

  • Develop and maintain multi-year sales strategy and business plan for assigned partner accounts
  • Manage and execute engagement between the partner and corresponding parts of the NetApp sales organization
  • Drive and support partner to develop services practices and specializations
  • Influence partner preference towards NetApp and increase penetration 
  • Orchestrates enablement of partner sales and technical teams and line with program requirements and solutions go to market
  • Drive partner forecast accuracy and overall health
  • Collaborate with enterprise account teams and partner to create and execute pursuits

Job Requirements

 

  • Ability to effectively interface and communicate at many levels within partner companies' organization
  • Aptitude to negotiate and resolve complex situations to a positive outcome 
  • Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams
  • Good understanding of network within the industry ecosystem
  • Strong knowledge of cloud technologies and business models

Education

 

  • Typically requires a minimum of 8 years of relevant experience and a Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience

The base salary hiring wage range for this position which the Company reasonably and in good faith expects to pay for the position in the specified geographic areas or locations is $234k - $286k total on target earnings. Final compensation will be dependent on various factors relevant to the position and candidate such as geographical location, candidate qualifications, certifications, relevant job-related work experience, education, skillset, and other relevant business and organizational factors, consistent with applicable law. In addition, the position may include some of the following comprehensive benefits such as Medical, Dental, Vision, Life, 401(K), Paid Time off (PTO), sick time, leave of absence as per the FMLA and other relevant leave laws, Company bonus/commission, employee stock purchase plan, and/or restricted stocks (RSU’s).
