Job Summary

NetApp's Account Technology Specialist (ATS) leverages their technical expertise and NetApp's industry leading data management portfolio of products and services to solve our customer's technical requirements and drive successful business outcomes. As an ATS, you will support Enterprise and Commercial Sales Representatives in the Portuguese territory, with pre-sales demonstrations and activities to drive the adoption of our technology within a book of existing customers.

 

Successful candidates will love the world of Solutions/Sales Engineering, have strong backgrounds in data storage and backup, and hyper-converged systems and platforms, including hypervisors, software-defined storage, and virtualized networking. Your responsibilities include:

 

  • Designing tailored storage technology solutions to address unique customer challenges.
  • Utilizing exceptional communication skills to convey the advantages of NetApp storage solutions through presentations, demonstrations, and discussions.
  • Assisting customers in validating or testing storage technology solutions in their environment.
  • Designing an architecting on-premise or hybrid storage systems.
  • Developing storage infrastructure and data management solutions for enterprise applications.
  • Good understanding of the role of storage solutions in the context of Cloud Service Providers and leveraging them for optimal business outcomes. Some hands-on experience on the same will be a plus.

Job Requirements

  • A minimum of 8+ years of experience as an individual contributor in a Sales Engineering, Solutions Architect, or Solutions Engineering role, focused on storage technologies.
  • The ideal candidate will possess exceptional fluency in both written and spoken Portuguese.
  • Recent experience in a B2B technical organization.
  • Proven leadership abilities among peers and through example.
  • You comprehend the difficulties faced by customers and devise storage technology solutions to address them.
  • You possess outstanding communication skills, enabling you to showcase the benefits of NetApp storage solutions in presentations, demonstrations, and conversations with customers and partners.
  • You excel at designing and architecting storage solutions tailored to customers' needs, often integrating NetApp products with those of our technology alliance partners.
  • You are adept at establishing robust relationships with customers at various levels.

Education

A Bachelor of Arts or Sciences Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or related field is required; experience showcasing a substantial level of expertise in technical specifications to sell NetApp storage products and services.
