Job Summary

As Multi-Area Financial Analyst you provide financial support and/or analysis in budgeting, planning, business processes and/or reporting to your senior finance colleagues in the Multi-Area in EMEA, to which you have been assigned.

You will perform economic research and studies and financial modeling to help future business planning decisions and create reports and summaries as required by corporate procedure or compliance regulations. 

You will interface with cross-functional peers and managers and have an opportunity to contribute across various business challenges. You will have the opportunity to build customer service and financial analysis skills as you contribute directly to department goals and deliverables.

Essential functions

The Financial Analysts role has responsibility for a wide range of financial support and analysis tasks. You will help to ensure that departmental objectives and project deadlines are met. The essential functions of the department include:

  • Prepare and drive operational and financial metrics in support of key decision making.
  • Participate in projects related to financial systems or business processes.
  • Gather, analyze, prepare and summarize recommendations for financial plans, acquisition activity, trended future requirements and operating forecasts.
  • Work with cross-functional groups to provide support to business units & other supporting functions.
  • Forecasting and budgeting of Bookings, Opex, Headcount
  • Managing Revenue Forecast & Revenue reserves.
  • Variance analysis on Bookings, Profitability, Opex & Headcount
  • Month-end Close of Opex
  • Standard and ad hoc reporting

Job Requirements

  • Good written and verbal communication skills
  • Good interpersonal communication skills as needed to work successfully with staff and managers within and outside of function.
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to work both independently and on cross functional teams.
  • Ability to function well in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with competing priorities.
  • Ability to work in a project based environment.
  • Ability to follow standard accounting and finance practices, and departmental procedures and processes.
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills including Excel, Word, Outlook and PowerPoint.
  • Experience with Oracle Accounting systems & Hyperion Planning
  • Willingness to adapt to EMEA time zone at quarter-end


  • Ideally 5-8 years working experience.
  • A HBO/University degree in Finance is required as well as potential to grow into a more senior analyst – or controlling role.
