As an Account Manager at Spot, you will own, drive, and lead the client’s and book-of-business growth while keeping an exceptional customer experience. You will actively engage with C-level executives and other key decision-makers to identify customer needs, pains and convert them into opportunities. You will negotiate and execute growth contracts that align to customer goals. 


Responsibilities 

  • Primary ownership and accountability for ensuring customer growth, satisfaction, and retention within the assigned book-of-business 
  • Manage a healthy and active pipeline to overachieve quarterly/yearly revenue growth targets 
  • Identify, develop, and close new opportunities for expanding your client’s business volume 
  • Develop and maintain close relationships with C-level executives and key decision makers and buyers and converting them into Spot promoters 
  • Proactively monitor and mitigate any risk the client’s growth, satisfaction, or availability 
  • Own and influence all client’s communications across the entire organization

Job Requirements

  • Experience working in a SaaS B2B environment.
  • Experience with selling to startups or mid-market clients 
  • Experience selling directly to R&D/DevOps organizations and C-level exeuctives 
  • Proven success at managing an active pipeline of forecasted sales to meet quarterly, and annual targets 
  • Track record of establishing and growing strategic relationships with clients or partners 
  • Ability to align the value of the solutions to customers' missions, KPIs, and/or business objectives 
  • Excellent understanding of how to position, sell and negotiate value, and calculate ROI 
  • Impeccable customer skills: communication, empathy, integrity
  • At least 80% of the people you have worked with put you in the top 10% of people they have worked with
  • Strong verbal and written communications skills, including presentation skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with employees within department and across functions.
  • Aptitude for understanding how technology products and solutions solve business problems.

Education

  • Minimum of 5+ years of experience in selling Compute, Saas or Data
