Job Summary

The End User Infrastructure Support Specialist will provide day-to-day support to employees. This includes desktop support and project support for multiple sites throughout the organization. Responsible for deploying, maintaining, and repairing the compute and related infrastructure of NetApp. Explores technical solutions, determines the applicability, and makes recommendations for any new deployments related to client compute infrastructure.

Job Functions

Actively monitors and analyzes user requests, evaluates and applies solutions

Troubleshoots any IT technical issues and resolves in a courteous, professional, and timely manner in person or via email, telephone or other electronic medium

Experience in tools such as Service now, PowerBI, Tableau, Excel and other reporting tools is a must

Should hold skills on generating reports, matrices and KPIs

Configure client compute hardware (company laptops, desktops, peripherals etc) and troubleshoot them if required for fixing IT related incidents as well

Maintains accurate IT asset inventory and assist in recovering, deploying, support, and retiring of IT assets based on NetApp IT life cycle management

Consults and seeks support through the cross functional IT colleagues, internal IT knowledgebase, other team members and any other appropriate resources for the purpose of independent troubleshooting

Works with different IT vendors on all the IT support and hardware services related issues

Administers end point devices and related computing environments including virtual or physical infrastructure such as VPN, WAN, LAN, WiFi, switches, virtual hosts / hypervisors etc.

Actively monitors and supports with installing patches, and upgrades hardware and software in accordance with the company’s life cycle management policy

Implements endpoint security measures to protect data, software, and hardware

Assists with new IT projects by investigating options and making recommendation as to what systems, hardware, and software changes are appropriate for the enterprise including and not limited to desktops, laptops, cellphones, printers, and area /department specific software

Trains and enhances user knowledge regarding computer software and hardware


Typically requires a minimum of 4 years of related experience with a Bachelor’s degree.
