Job Description

The Global Systems Integrators (GSI) Manager is a senior sales position, has a key role in building NetApp business with leading Indian GSI partners (e.g., TCS, HCL, Wipro, Cognizant, etc.). This is a unique opportunity to join one of the most strategic businesses unit at NetApp. We are looking for someone who has direct experience working with GSI partners, and has established trusted advisor status with their key decision makers

Job Requirements


  • Achieve revenue goals and pipeline goals for future
  • Builds trusted advisor relationships with senior clients (VP and C-level) by proactively identifying GSI business objectives, priorities, capabilities and critical success factors
  • Creates unique and compelling value propositions so GSI decision-makers clearly grasp the short and long-term business and financial value of a NetApp relationship
  • Develop, Own & execute business plans specific to global Sis assigned.
  •  Collaborate with various stakeholders within NetApp and GSI org, to execute the business plan
  • Track/create pipeline, and close deals by partnering with the GSI partner field & NetApp field
  • Enable partner stake holders by educating on NetApp value proposition
  • Relationship management and stakeholder’s management across the board
  • Act as the ambassador for assigned Global SI Partner, within NetApp
  • Own up governance of business between the two organizations.
  • Focus on long term strategy while handling tactical business activities
  • Work closely with NetApp SE team, GSI Partner COE teams, GSI Practice teams to drive joint solutions, marketing & global launch


  • An extraordinary astute business development professional and with exceptional business insights and outstanding judgment; executive presentation skills/boardroom presence  
  • 12+ years’ managing GSI partnerships, experience selling large enterprise IT Software/Cloud & data center solutions
  • Executive understanding of IT industry, history/trends, key players, leading products, systems integration, Cloud, data center and operational best practices
  • Track record building trusted advisor relationships with VP and C-level at GSI partner organizations
  • Large account management sales experience, including global exposure (USA, Europe, Asia)
  • Effectively forecasts and manages sales opportunities through the sales
  • Ability to lead development of joint value proposition along with GTM strategy for partners
  • Proven ability to generate revenue through alliance partnerships
  • Highest level of personal and professional ethics and integrity.
  • Hands-on, and “does what it takes” attitude to drive success
  • Strong business acumen and negotiation abilities.
  • Strong grasp of finance and accounting, experience building/reviewing financial models
  • Experience leading multiple project teams with dedicated and virtual shared resources
  • Bachelor’s Degree, Master’s Degree in Business/Management (preferred)
  • Travel – 50%.
  • Base location: Bangalore, India


Typically requires a minimum of 12 years of related experience with a Bachelor’s degree; or 8 years and a Master’s degree; or a PhD with 5 years experience; or equivalent experience.
