Title:  Global Payroll Analyst

Job Summary

  • Manage end-to-end Payroll processing and payroll administrative tasks for assigned countries in global payroll environment under compliance supervision of regional NetApp payroll specialists and in coordination with payroll vendors.
  • Interface with payroll vendor to ensure timely and accurate payroll processing including providing payroll inputs, clarify their queries on inputs, audit payroll vendor output for accuracy, and manage the vendor to our agreed upon payroll calendar.   
  • Arrange payroll disbursement including any settlements
  • Address employee queries relating to payroll
  • Ensure posting of payroll accounting journals
  • Oversee payment and accounting for expats within assigned countries
  • Prepare and update salary registers / trackers, Annual Bonus calculations, share-based employee contributions etc.
  • Preparation of reconciliations and account attestations as appropriate and agreed
  • Assist in providing information necessary for compliance with tax laws.
  • Liaise with regional payroll specialists to ensure proper accounting treatment & regulatory compliance for new country specific statutory laws, new payment types, etc…
  • Assist in preparation & coordination of information to ensure compliance with local Statutory Reporting requirements
  • Other tasks and projects as assigned
  • Assist in evaluation and documentation of processes, including the related control environment

Job Requirements

  • Strong experience in end-to-end Payroll processing and payroll administrative tasks
  • Should be able to independently manage regional payroll process including managing payroll service provider
  • Excellent communication skills – ideal candidate should have worked shared service environment / COE in a global company
  • Basic knowledge of EMEA and APAC payroll would be an asset but not necessary
  • Should be able to work across teams including HR, C&B, Finance and regional payroll teams


  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting / Finance
  • 3 - 5 years of independent payroll processing experience
