Job Summary

Marketing Reporting Lead: The goal of the Reporting Lead is to access, interpret, analyze, and help make sense of data for NetApp Marketing leadership, program teams, and geo teams.

Works on the planning and implementation of analytics and reporting projects that support the marketing function. Interacts directly with program and geographic leaders to identify new marketing dashboards, prepares regular marketing activity reports and responds to questions from the marketing and sales organizations. Works individually or with a team in recommending action, scheduling and planning projects, estimating cost and managing projects to completion. May identify, evaluate and recommend marketing opportunities consistent with product line objectives.

Responsibilities also include: performing program and geo-level diagnostics and review of performance, applying end-to-end decision analytics and data-driven services to optimize campaigns and functions, providing requirements to Enterprise Data Stewards and IT teams for dashboards / tools and enabling adoption across NetApp programs.

Job Requirements

Requirements / Skills:

  • Support data-driven decision-making with comprehensive and succinct presentations that highlight problems and recommend courses of action to address those problems
  • Visualize and summarize insights using visualization tools (e.g., Tableau)
  • Perform marketing analytics using BI (e.g., Oracle) and Web analytics tools (e.g., Adobe Analytics, Google Analytics)
  • Regular monitoring of lead and opportunity flow in Marketing Automation (e.g., Eloqua, Hubspot) and CRM tools (e.g., SalesForce, SAP C4C)

 

Responsibility:

  • The analytical tasks this individual is responsible are often unstructured and the issues addressed are less defined requiring new perspectives and creative approaches with the ability to work independently.
  • This individual will apply attained experiences and knowledge of technology and/or B2B marketing to identify issues and recommend solutions to complex problems that span the marketing demand generation funnel.
  • They will apply their excellent verbal and written communications skills and build strong working relationships across all levels of the organization, including senior executives

Education

Typically requires a minimum of 5 years of related experience with a Bachelor’s degree; or 3-4 years and a Master’s degree; with 1-2 years of experience in technology and/or B2B marketing demand generation.
