Who do we look for?  
Our team is based in NetApp’s Bangalore is pioneering the development of next generation manageability solution for VMware workloads. We are developing a manageability solution for VMware based on docker containers and integrated with K8S, which will be support for both on-prem and cloud-based deployments. We are working on building a horizontally highly scalable architecture to support the requirements of large enterprise customers by using state of the art tools available for microservices and K8s ecosystem like Mango DB, Elastic Search, RabbitMQ, Prometheus, fluentd, Grafana etc.This is your chance to work with a group of talented developers, impart your vision, and rapidly develop next generation manageability solutions and drive towards self-managed manageability solution using AI/ML. We are currently looking for an exceptional leader to add to our team. As a Senior Software Engineering Manager you will be responsible for leading a blended team of Software Developers and QA Engineers.  

Job Requirements

Experience with Java, Python, GoLang and Distributed Systems

Experience in developing the products using docker containers and Kubernetes

Experience in building strong CI/CD for product development

Experience in managing the products deployed with high end customers and supporting the products for quality and timely delivery incremental features.

Experience in storage systems

Experience in VMware technologies

Experience delivering software in an agile organization

Experience recruiting, mentoring, and developing engineers 

10+ years of experience as an individual contributor 

5+ years of technical leadership and people management 

Education

A Bachelor of Science Degree in Electrical Engineering or Computer Science, a master's degree, or equivalent experience is required.
