Title:  Mgr, Software QA Engineering

Job Summary

As a Oracle Fusion QA Manager, you will be responsible for managing QA teams consisting of Test Leads, Manual QAs, and Automation Developers. You will oversee the QA activities and manage multiple QA projects under the ERP platform. You will also be working with Business team, Development Managers and Project Architects to ensure on-time delivery of QA artifacts.

Essential Functions
•    Working experience in Oracle cloud implementation projects
•    Extensive experience in Test Management Area
•    Good background of Supply Chain Management, Finance processes of Fusion SaaS Applications
•    Expertise in End-to-End Testing- Extensive experience in SIT and UAT Phase for Oracle Implementation Projects
•    Responsible for Quality and Test advocacy, resource planning and management, vendor coordination
•    Handled customers across regions/flexible on Time zone.
•    Strong PM skills and have been in Testing Lead role as Test Manager
•    Creating Traceability matrix and high-level requirement mappings
•    Create Test strategies, Test planning and Test summary reports
•    Resolution of impediments, Risk planning and streamlining the processes
•    Provide best practices and testing processes as per project requirements.
•    Ensure that all testing activities are conducted in accordance with established standards and procedures
•    Drive test metrics and dashboards with stakeholders.
•    Working with Multiple stakeholders for planning release schedules, release management
•    Working with supplier resources and Plan resource allocation.
•    Mentoring Teams on Functional, Integration and Regression testing
•    Plan and monitor SIT and UAT Phase
•    Leading Triage calls for defect tracking, closure and Root cause analysis.
•    Good knowledge of JIRA, Azure devops tools for Test, Defects and Project Management
•    Soft skill enabling proper integration in the team: curiosity, to show ability to facilitate, federate and able to understand the consolidated work.
•    Stay updated with Oracle application updates, new features, and industry best practices to enhance testing practices.

Job Requirements

•    Must have actively participated in all the phases of product development from requirement elaboration to test and deployment.
•    Expert in QA methodologies, processes, and tools.
•    Experience in managing multiple QA project teams.
•    Understands the need and focus on various testing types: black / white box, unit, integration, system, user acceptance, test-driven development, automation, etc.
•    Must have experience in managing Oracle Fusion testing projects.
•    Hands-on experience in testing Fusion applications and mentoring the team.
•    Must have experience in integration testing of Fusion ERP with CRM, CPQ applications

 Must have experience in testing SCM application.
•    Good Experience on Functional Test Automation Framework, Process, Strategy & Approach for test automation
•    Proven track record of defining test plans for large cross-functional programs.
•    Experience in defining cloud and on-premises testing strategies optimized across cost, efficiency, and quality outcome.
•    Effective at working cross-functionally across a large organization and influencing technical counterparts.
•    Strong knowledge and experience in AGILE methodology.
•    Proven ability to manage and prioritize multiple, diverse projects simultaneously.
•    Proven track record of handling time-critical projects.
•    Able to estimate work based on risk process model.
•    Excellent verbal and written communication skills to coordinate efficiently with business, project, and development teams and bridge communication gaps.
•    Direct interaction/facilitation of bug triage and bug resolution with development teams
•    Experience in working with Testing Center of Excellence (CoE) to streamline the testing process.
•    Communicate timely status, including any potential risks/issues to the appropriate teams to ensure completion of all deliverables within schedule, budget, and quality constraints.
•    Responding to requests from all stakeholders.
•    Updating testing status to Project Delivery Managers or other stakeholders.
•    Introducing value adds to bring in the improvements.
•    Preparing QA process documents and checklists to streamline the QA process across projects.
•    Works effectively within a dynamic team environment following standards and best practices and ensure the highest level of quality.
 

Education

•    A bachelor’s degree in engineering, master’s degree in computer science, or a master’s degree in business administration.
•    Demonstrated ability to manage multiple QA projects including ERP Cloud projects.
•    Overall 12+ years of experience in quality assurance and 5+ years of experience in Oracle implementation (Fusion) projects and 3+ years of experience in project and people management.
