Job Summary

EPS is a global function and handles engineering level customer escalations across the product and solution landscape. EPS brings engineering level skill sets closer to the support. EPS teams are involved in detecting and fixing issues seen with customer problems – including fixing defects. Another major area of contribution is improving the supportability of NetApp products by adding supportability features. 

Person joining this role works for core OS kernel debugging team. He/She is responsible for analysing core dumps and automating analysis of recurring issues

Job Requirements
  • A strong understanding of concepts related to OS internals, data structures and programming practices.
  • Advanced expertise in Python and C++ programming.
  • A clear understanding of the product development cycle, technical requirements.
  • Proficiency in product development/support within a Linux environment. 
  • An inquisitive mind and a desire to promote innovation 
  • Successfully completed complex technical tasks. 
  • He/She is a good team player


  • Strong oral and written communication skills are essential.
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment of other engineers to meet aggressive goals and high quality standards.
  • Ability to participate in and drive technical discussions with in your team and other cross-functional teams.

Typically requires a Bachelor’s degree and a minimum of 2 years of related experience; or an advanced degree without experience; or equivalent work experience.
