Title:  Professional Services Consultant / NetApp storage Administrator_Chennai

Job Summary

We are looking for a motivated Senior Professional Services Consultant to join our Storage operations team and service our Cloud and Managed Services Customers for a critical customer based out of Chennai. You will provide Consultant/Architecture support to our customers by Influencing the customer engineering team on NetApp technology and adhering to the NetApp sales team strategy for this customer

Job Requirements

• Experienced in NetApp Storage (Deploying and administering NetApp Storage – CDOT and 7-Mode, Troubleshooting Performance Issues, performing firmware and operating system upgrades, using storage management tools – On Command Unified Manager/ Performance Manager/ Insight, Managing backup integration with NetApp technologies)
• Proficient understanding of NetApp Storage concepts, related management tools, and related Storage technologies (Snapshots, controller failover, provisioning, deduplication, cloning, Snap Mirror, IntelliSnap) including monitoring and troubleshooting, administration, replication technologies, security hardening, and performance tuning.
• Experience or Knowledge in other NetApp technologies like CVO, Storage GRID, E-Series, CVS, Cloud Backup, Cloud Secure, Cloud Sync, Cloud Data sense & Amazon FSxN for ONTAP would be highly regarded
• A thorough understanding of other components in the infrastructure stack – compute, virtualization, and networks: (NetApp/Cisco Flex pod architecture, Cisco UCS platform, IBM Blade Centre, System X, VMWare vSphere, Microsoft Operating Systems and Applications, Commvault)
• Strong understanding of Storage protocols and technologies (CIFS, NFS, iSCSI, Fiber Channel switching, and networks)
• Working knowledge of hyperscalers
• Leading customer discussions relating to their technical and business requirements and integration needs
• Work with customers to define tool and integration requirements, such as cloud integration, strategy, DII, ServiceNow integration, and automation.
• Work with customer to define all tool, process, and script ingestion requirements when NetApp is operationally inheriting an existing customer environment
• Provide customer guidance on transformation impacts relating to storage-attached devices and host-based integration
• Organize the delivery of technical presentations to customer Operations and Engineering teams in Chennai that explain NetApp products or services to customers and prospective customers

Education

• Typically requires a minimum of 10-14 years of related experience 
• 10+ years of proven NetApp technologies in technical design and architectural skills
