Job Summary

The Technical Lead/Architect is responsible for managing technical architecture and development of enterprise applications which has significant integrations with internal and external applications. Responsible for all aspects of system design, development, test, and implementation cycles working with internal employees and external resources. The successful candidate will work closely with Business Users, PM’s, and Business system analysts to take on the technical deliverables for releases & projects. Drive major cross-functional initiatives which are enabled through enterprise solutions.   A deep understanding of the functional processes Quote to Order, Configurator, BOM, Quoting and Inventory is required.

Essential Functions:

The Enterprise Solutions Delivery group is part of NetApp’s IT Business Applications function and is responsible for designing, developing and implementing enterprise solutions that support NetApp business processes.  As a lead on the team, you will help to ensure that team objectives and goals are met.

  • Partner with global business & IT teams and drive end to end technical delivery for releases and projects based on business priorities.
  • Collaborate with Business users, Business Systems Analysts and other technical leads to ensure successful integration of enterprise solutions
  • Take complete ownership of IT deliverables for projects and releases coming out of global business prioritization process. Reduce cycle time and improve delivery through put of the development team
  • Perform hands-on design and development tasks as required in support of the enhancements and projects
  • Participate, influence and drive cross functional projects that impact the Quote to Order processes.
  • Drive continuous process improvements and operational efficiencies and also drive Scalability initiatives in an effort to make the systems and processes more reliable, predictable and efficient
  • Drive major patch releases and code changes to the production environment including managing and coordination of the Regression and User acceptance testing with the users
  • Extensive experience as an architect in Oracle E-Business suite 11i or R12 involving Oracle Configurator/ Quoting integrations with internal and external applications
  • Working knowledge of BOM, Configurator, Oracle Order Management, Quoting and Inventory
  • Expertise in Oracle Configurator – Rules, UI, Extensions & Modelling      
  • Experience in Oracle CPQ is a Plus
  • A strong technical background and project management skills are required
  • Strong business and cross functional partnership experience required, with proven track record of successfully driving cross functional initiatives
  • Must possess strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Must be willing to help the overall team with his/her skill sets.
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment of other Development resources to support deadlines.
  • Ability to use NetApp IT Program Management Office system development guidelines and methodology.
  • Ability to develop longer-range project plans and schedules; lead projects and drive initiatives through implementation cycles.
  • The ideal candidate will be a proactive contributor and subject matter expert.
  •  To be successful, this individual must demonstrate favorable results through leadership   and influencing multiple individuals and groups.
