Job Summary

The Technical Lead is responsible for managing technical architecture and development of ERP Applications which has significant integrations with internal and external applications. Responsible for all aspects of system design, development, test, and implementation cycles working with internal employees and external resources. The successful candidate will work closely with Business Users, PM’s, and Business system analysts to take on the technical deliverables for enhancements & projects. Drive major cross-functional initiatives which are enabled through enterprise and SaaS solutions.   A deep understanding of one of the functional processes Human Resources, Payroll and Finance is required.

Essential Functions:

  • Designs, develops, modifies, debugs and evaluates programs for Human Resources functional areas . 
  • Analyzes existing programs or formulates logic for new systems, devises logic procedures, prepares flowcharting, performs coding and tests/debugs programs.
  • Develops conversion and system implementation plans
  • Prepares and obtains approval of system and programming documentation. Recommends changes in development, maintenance and system standards.
  • Trains users in conversion and implementation of system.
  • Collaborate with Business users, Business Systems Analysts and other technical leads to ensure successful integration of enterprise solutions 
  • Take complete ownership of deliverables for projects and releases coming out of global business prioritization process. Reduce cycle time and improve delivery through put of the development team
  • Participate, influence and drive cross functional projects that impact the ERP processes.
  • Drive continuous process improvements and operational efficiencies and also drive Scalability initiatives in an effort to make the systems and processes more reliable, predictable and efficient
  • Drive major patch releases and code changes to the production environment including managing and coordination of the Regression and User acceptance testing with the users

    • The tasks this individual is responsible for are often non-routine and unstructured, requiring creative solutions.
    • This individual will apply attained experiences and knowledge in solving routine to moderately complex problems.
  • Interaction:
    • This individual must work effectively with Staff to Vice President level employees within the function, and the technical team on assigned projects. There may be communication with employees in other functions as required.
    • Limited management direction is provided to employee on new projects or assignments as well as review of activities and priorities.
    • The ideal candidate will be a proactive contributor and subject matter expert on team projects.
    • To be successful, this individual must demonstrate favorable results through coaching and influencing others.

Job Requirements

  • Expertise in technical design and development of Integrations between SuccessFactors and external and internal systems using Hana Cloud Integration Platform (HCI)
  • Groovy experience is desired
  • Functional understanding of one or more HR business processes is desired (Employee Central, Benefits, Compensation, Onboarding etc.,) 
  • End to End Implementation experience in Success Factors is a plus
  • Demonstrated technical experience in successfully delivering HR projects and initiatives to keep the business running
  • Strong aptitude for learning new technologies and understanding how to utilize them in a customer facing environment.
  • Working knowledge of enterprise application system development methodology and life cycle.
  • In-depth understanding of: relational database concepts, internet technologies.
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment of other programmer/analysts’ cross functional peers to support deadlines.
  • Ability to use NetApp IT Program Management Office system development guidelines and methodology.
  • Ability to lead projects and drive initiatives through agile implementation cycles.

Education

- 8-10 years of Development experience of which at least 3-5 years mainly in SAP Success Factors
- 3 years of technical project management experience - Leading the deliverables working with other development resources
- Bachelors or Masters Degree in Computer Science
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, negotiation, task and project management, and organizational skills.
