Job Summary

As a CPQ QA Manager, you will be responsible for managing QA teams consisting of Test Leads, Manual QAs, and Automation Developers. You will oversee the QA activities and manage multiple QA projects under the commerce platform. You will also be working with Development Managers and Project Architects to ensure on-time delivery of QA artifacts.

Job Requirements

•    Must have actively participated in all the phases of product development from requirement elaboration to test and deployment.
•    Expert in QA methodologies, processes, and tools.
•    Experience in managing multiple QA project teams.
•    Understands the need and focus on various testing types: black / white box, unit, integration, system, user acceptance, test-driven development, automation, etc.
•    Must have experience in managing Configure, Price, Quote (CPQ) testing projects.
•    Hands-on experience in testing CPQ applications and mentoring the team.
•    Must of experience in integration testing of CPQ with CRM and ERP applications
•    Good Knowledge on Functional Test Automation Framework, Process, Strategy & Approach for test automation
•    Proven track record of defining test plans for large cross-functional programs.
•    Experience in defining cloud and on-premises testing strategies optimized across cost, efficiency, and quality outcome.
•    Effective at working cross-functionally across a large organization and influencing technical counterparts.
•    Strong knowledge and experience in AGILE methodology.
•    Proven ability to manage and prioritize multiple, diverse projects simultaneously.
•    Proven rack record of handling time-critical projects.
•    Able to estimate work based on risk process model
•    Excellent verbal and written communication skills to coordinate efficiently with partners, business, project, and development teams and bridge communication gaps.
•    Direct interaction/facilitation of bug triage and bug resolution with development teams
•    Experience in working with Testing Center of Excellence (CoE) to streamline the testing process.
•    Communicate timely status, including any potential risks/issues to the appropriate teams to ensure completion of all deliverables within schedule, budget and quality constraints.
•    Responding to requests from all stakeholders.
•    Updating testing status to Project Delivery Managers or other stakeholders.
•    Introducing value adds to bring in the improvements.
•    Preparing QA process documents and checklists to streamline the QA process across projects.
•    Works effectively within a dynamic team environment following standards and best practices and ensure the highest level of quality.


Essential Functions
•    Setting the QA standards across all the projects and ensuring the process is followed
•    Overseeing QA activities for manual and test automation
•    Collaborate with BSAs, Project Architects and Development manager for requirement prioritization and estimation
•    Allocating work to the QA team as per the project/sprint plan
•    Monitoring and tracking the testing status.
•    Adding value and bringing improvements into the QA process



•    A bachelor’s degree in engineering, master’s degree in computer science, or a master’s degree in business administration.
•    Demonstrated ability to manage multiple QA projects including CPQ projects.
•    Overall 10+ years of experience in quality assurance and 3+ years of experience in project and people management.
