Job Summary

Business analysts will provide Decision support and Operational support for EMEA Sales and Operations.

The analyst will work in the ECC ( EMEA Competence Center) Bangalore and will work on providing the EMEA executives (AREA/Country Sales Leaders, Sales Ops leaders) / Sales Ops Program Manager insights that help drive the business, and make key business decisions, through use of data  analytics, research, data synthesis  from various data sources with a strong focus on Automation and innovation.

 

Essential Functions:

  • Understand the functional process and need for data and reports for EMEA Sales Operations
  • Knowledge of Sales Operations in B2B environment and CRM systems
  • Collect & Analyze information from secondary data sources like IDC, Websites etc. Analyze market and present insights
  • Create and deliver on ad- hoc requests.  
  • Partner with EMEA field Sales Ops Program Managers to run various sales performance acceleration related initiatives (Account Enrichment, Sales Coverage, Monitoring Bookings and Pipeline)
  • Perform regular checks, identify discrepancies and ensure data quality of data from different data sources
  • Create presentations for Business reviews
  • Build canned Dashboards using Enterprise Tableau, eBI and other corporate systems
  • Develop analyses for the EMEA Sales operation and Sales management, Field teams as per the requirements
  • Subject matter expertise of various data sources like Bookings, Quotes, Pipeline, Installed base etc.
Job Requirements
  • Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills and ability to manage stakeholder expectations
  • Experience in Sales Operations / Reporting and Analysis
  • Must be proficient in MS Excel & PowerPoint, with knowledge of database: MS-SQL/HANA/Oracle
  • Ability to work with cross functional and global teams
  • Knowledge of ETL concepts is good to have
  • Knowledge of improving data quality and data cleansing
  • Ability to plan and work on multiple tasks
  • Previous experience/understanding of Sales & Marketing domain is preferred.
  • Knowledge of activities like Customer Segmentation, Targeting & positioning is a plus
  • Skilled in Analytics & project management. Knowledge of Data science skills is preferred
  • Experience in working with large quantity of Data 
  • Excellent Tableau dashboard authoring skills
  • Knowledge of SSIS, SSAS
  • Knowledge of VBA Macros and Python scripting for automation is preferred
Education

Typically requires a minimum of 5 years of related experience with a Bachelor’s degree; or 4 years and a Master’s degree.
