Job Summary

As a Senior Technical Marketing Engineer in the Converged Infrastructure Solutions group, you lead cross-functional teams to build/validate converged infrastructure cloud solutions and create technical content targeted to Customers, Field Tech Teams and Partners. The engineer will work closely with Product Management as well as Product and Solutions Engineering on the company's future strategies and roadmap execution related to hybrid cloud solutions. You may also work closely with third-party vendor organizations and the field as required to achieve corporate and organizational goals with regards to product integration and best practices.

Job Requirements


  • Hands on experience designing and building Virtualization solution architectures and services, including deep knowledge of VMware, Redhat and Hyper-V technologies.
  • Hands on experience designing, deploying, tuning, and validating complex end-to-end solution stacks including applications, operating systems, hypervisors, networking, and storage components.  Current knowledge and experience with Datacenter and Cloud infrastructure, and Infrastructure and operations management products is a must-have
  • Ability to collaborate closely with engineering teams including providing strategic feedback on product development, performing validations and POCs on prototypes and production products, creating product documentation such as FAQs and Best Practice Guides, and participating in relevant engineering reviews.
  • Expertise with all layers of the Converged Infrastructure stack, including compute, network, storage, and hypervisor. Thorough understanding of NetApp Converged Infrastructure and Hyper Converged Infrastructure platforms and solutions.
  • Has an established industry network and is known as a subject matter expert within the industry.
  • Ability to plan, build and operate virtualization environments including on-prem and hybrid/public cloud components. Familiarity with containers and Kubernetes is an added advantage.
  • Ability to plan, outline and publish professional technical collateral on schedule.
  • Ability to communicate in a clear and concise professional manner, tailored to the appropriate audience; including both verbal and written communications.
  • Ability to lead across business unit teams and have strong influencing skills at the Senior and Executive level.
  • Creates and fosters a collaborative environment. Also act as a mentor and guide for team members.
  • Ability to work on complex issues where analysis of situations or data requires an in-depth evaluation and frequently requires collaboration across multiple technical teams.
  • Must be able to manage multiple priorities and complex tasks in a dynamic work environment.
  • Ability to build strong working relationships across all levels of the organization internally and with partners externally, in broad technology areas.


  • A minimum of 12 years of experience is required;
  • A Bachelor of Science or master’s degree in Computer Science or related technical discipline; or equivalent experience is required
  • Demonstrated ability to have successfully completed multiple, complex technical projects.
  • Demonstrated experience in authoring technical white papers in collaboration with technology partners as well as project conceptualization and planning, is preferred
  • Public speaking skills are required.
