Title:  Software Engineer (Python / Golang & NoSQL)

Job Summary

As a Senior Engineer in the NetApp’s Keystone organization, you will be responsible for leading and executing our most challenging and complex projects. You will be responsible for decomposing
complex problems into simple solutions with respect to builds, environments and alerts. Understanding system interdependencies, limitations and engineering best practices are a must.

In addition to your technical expertise, you will also be responsible partnering with technical and product leaders. You will be a key player in helping NetApp stay ahead of the curve.
You are expected to have a strong technical point of view, be a great team player and work with internal and external stakeholders with trust with empathy. 

Job Requirements

•    Strong knowledge of Go/python programming language, paradigms, constructs, and idioms
•    Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in computer science, information technology, or engineering/ or anything specific that you prefer
•    Knowledge of various Go/python frameworks and tools
•    5+ year experience working with the Go/python programming language
•    Strong written and communication skills with proven fluency in English
•    Familiarity with database technologies such as NoSQL, Prometheus and Datalake
•    Hands-on experience with code conversion tools like Git,
•    Passionate about learning new tools, languages, philosophies, and workflows
•    Working with generated code and code generation techniques
•    Knowledge of programming methodologies - Object Oriented/Functional/Design Patterns
•    Knowledge of software development methodologies - SCRUM/AGILE/LEAN

Education

Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering required (Computer science preferred) or relevant experience.
