Title:  Software Engineer

Job Summary

As a Software developer in Engineering Tools & Services team, you are part of a team that is responsible for NetApp's internal engineering tools, infrastructure and services. This work will span the self-service delivery of private and public cloud infrastructure, networking, storage, applications, automation and platforms. The team is responsible for planning, designing, implementing end-to-end, self-service solutions, extensible toolset and environment for automated workflows across cloud and OnPrem solutions. You will engage in projects, working through analysis, design, and implementation of tools to solve NetApp engineering team challenges.

Job Requirements

•    Self-motived, team player. Dependable with a strong work ethic.
•    Software development experience with Python programming knowledge is required. Golang would be good to have.
•    Knowledge of Data Structures and Algorithms and Linux is required.
•    Working knowledge on development tools (bitbucket, git, svn, Jira, etc.)
•    Exposure to cloud technology & any one of the hyperscale (AWS, Azure, GCP) would be an added plus
•    Knowledge in software design and development and be able to understand the Object-Oriented design
•    Knowledge of web services, server-side development, databases, and related technologies is a plus. 
•    Some front-end experience preferred

•    Aptitude for troubleshooting and resolving issues even in unfamiliar environments.
 

Education

Bachelor's or Masters of Engineering with minimum of 2 years of related experience.
