Title:  Software QA Engineer

Job Summary

As an Oracle Cloud Test Lead, you will be responsible for overseeing and executing the testing process to ensure the high quality and reliability of Oracle Cloud applications. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify test requirements, develop test plans, Design & execute test cases, and track defects throughout the testing lifecycle. Your role will involve leading a team of testers, coordinating test activities, identifying the test automation framework, designing & executing test scripts and providing recommendations for test automation and process improvement. 
 
Essential Functions 

Lead and manage a team of testers to conduct comprehensive testing of Oracle SCM applications ( Order managemen & Fulfillment, Purchasing, Global Trade, iProcurment, Install base & Service Contracts, Inventory Management modules) 

Develop and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts to verify functionality, performance, and reliability. 

Collaborate with business team, developers, and stakeholders to define test requirements and acceptance criteria. 

Design and implement test strategies for both functional and non-functional testing. 

Develop the test automation framework for Oracle SCM application 

Design and execute the automated test scripts. 

Analyse test results, identify defects, and communicate findings to the relevant stakeholders. 

Participate in the continuous improvement of testing processes, methodologies, and tools. 

Drive test automation efforts to increase efficiency and effectiveness of testing. 

Mentor and provide guidance to junior testers on test automation best practices. 

Collaborate with project managers to ensure testing deadlines are met and deliverables are of high quality. 

Track and report test metrics to measure progress and identify areas for improvement. 

Contribute to the development and implementation of quality assurance standards and procedures within the organization. 

Job Requirements

•    A history of leading quality initiatives including defining quality practices and test frameworks.
•    Strong experience in Oracle Cloud SCM testing and Oracle cloud boundary application testing.
•    Strong experience in test automation using Selenium and Java, Or any other test automation tool
•    Experience of working with AI based test automation tool Opkey (Desirable)
•    Proven track record of defining and leading testing team including automation, tools, and CI/CD strategy
•    Ability to quickly analyse test results and debug errors during test runs and recommend corrective action
•    Effective communicator of technical concepts both verbally and in written form

Education

A bachelor’s degree in engineering, master’s degree in computer science, or a master’s degree in business administration. 

Minimum of 8 years of experience in software testing, 5+ years of experience in Oracle cloud SCM Testing. 3+ Years of experience in Automation testing
