Title:  Sourcing/Commodity Mgr - Contracting

Job Summary

As a Sourcing manager, you are part of the Global Indirect Procurement team responsible for sourcing of goods, and services for your designated categories.  You will lead complex sourcing projects from end to end, incl. but not limited to set up of RFXs within the sourcing tools, project management of the project as well as managing timely communication with internal stakeholders/customers and providing project updates and external communication with suppliers. You will also be responsible for contract negotiations of strategic and complex projects. You will be dedicated to specific sets of categories and you will work with your Business Sourcing Partner(s) and Category Managers to be aligned with the related category strategies as well as internal customer requirements.

Additionally, you will be responsible to maintain the contracting database and feed the SRM system as required. Accuracy of data and support to monthly reporting will be part of your responsibilities, too

Essential Functions:

Contracting: Ability to review, understand & draft Simple Amendments, Change orders, SOW’s , sponsorship agreements in compliance with NetApp policies and procedures, adhere to SOP’s & Process, should be able to negotiate contract commercials and bring value, protect NetApp from contractual risks,  be a good team player to work with stake holders, such as Business units, Legal, Data Protection, information & Security team, ensure E-Sign (Contract Signature) is followed as per the agreed protocol.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills (both internally, with client stakeholders, and the supplier community)
  • High degree of proficiency in Microsoft business tools
  • Experience in using eSourcing tools including eRFx, reverse auctions, project management tools, and contract management tools.

The role involves working in US shifts.

Education

Typically requires a minimum of 5 years of related experience with a Bachelor’s degree; or 3 years and a Master’s degree; or a PhD without experience; or equivalent work experience.

Preferable  a dgeree in law (LLB).
