Job Summary

The Tax Analyst has the following key responsibilities:

  • Work both independently and on a team for the transition of EMEA based compliances to a centralized location in Bangalore and assist in building the tax team at this location
  • Collaborate with  third party service provider to prepare  all direct and indirect EMEA filings including ensuring information internally is obtained and shared in a timely manner
  • Build on the development of an improved compliance calendar.
  • Assist with ongoing software implementation project (provision and compliance)
  • Collaborate and take initiative with other key tax, accounting, and finance professionals on process improvement projects
  • Assist in the creation of a worldwide withholding tax matrix
  • Maintain tax balances within the general ledger by overseeing the preparation of aging and tax account reconciliations
  • Ensure the remittance of timely tax payments
  • Assist in providing advice to non-tax teams on VAT and all other tax matters
  • Support the statutory financial statements audits for EMEA
  • Provide support to tax provision team on matters related to quarterly and year-end tax provisions.
  •  Drive tax activities (M&A) and tax audits with third party service providers and HQ tax colleagues
  • Understand the company’s business and maintain effective control on the tax processes

Job Requirements

  • Knowledge of transfer pricing issues common to multi-national technology companies
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.
  • Growth mindset and willingness to embrace change and cooperation.

  • Ability to identify and drive process improvements. 
  • Researching and monitoring appropriate federal, state and local tax regulations and obligations.
  • Preparing appropriate tax forms and instruments for filing with federal, state and local jurisdictions.
  • Helping other business units stay informed about tax implications of their operation.
  • Compiling and analyzing tax data and providing reports to management.

Must be willing to take on new challenges, learn independently and be part of a dynamic tax team.


  •  5+ years of experience in a Big-4 firm or multi-national company with increasing responsibilities
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to effectively collaborate with all levels of management and cross functional team.
