Title:  Consulting Solutions Engineer

Job Summary

As a Senior Solutions Engineer, you will primarily provide pre-sales technical support for the development and implementation of complex products/applications/solutions. You will utilise your technical expertise and our cutting-edge data storage portfolio to address customers' technical needs and deliver successful business results. You will be assigned to a district team and Client Executive, focusing on expanding our presence within existing and new clients together with business partners.

Essential Functions

• Provide technical expertise to sales staff and customers through presentations and product demonstrations
• Assist in assessing potential applications of company products and prepare detailed specifications.
• Build "mini-labs" based on customer requirements for rapid prototyping and product demos.
• Design tailored storage technology solutions and architect on-premise or hybrid storage systems (knowledge of NAS, SAN, and Object Storage required).
• Develop storage infrastructure and data management solutions for enterprise applications, including Cloud Services.
• Present the advantages of NetApp storage solutions and create ROI/TCO overviews.
• Collaborate with client executives and partner sales to develop customer opportunities.
• Advise on engagement and utilization of technical resources, applying expertise on NetApp's storage products and solutions.

Job Requirements

• Operate as a Subject-Matter-Expert (SME) with the ability to influence the Sales team, drive initiatives, and act as a decision-maker on projects.
• Experience or working knowledge with products from EMC, HDS, HPE, IBM, VMware, or Pure Storage.
• Good knowledge of major operating systems on the market.
• Experience in technical management of major accounts.
• A good knowledge of NetApp products would be an advantage.
• A good knowledge of the FSI segment is recommended.
• Interest and/or relevant knowledge in hybrid multi-cloud technologies and AI platforms.
