Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced and energetic Client Executive to join our growing Defence and Intelligence team. The Client Executive will be focused on nurturing and growing existing Defence contracts, as well as working closely with our Defence and Intelligence BDM to develop new business opportunities across the Defence portfolio. 

To be successful in this role, you will understand the organisational structure, strategies and processes of Defence and possess the ability to align NetApp technology with Defence’s use of data to help protect Australia and its national interests. 

Job Responsibilities

• Strengthen the Defence and Integrator Partnerships: building new and leveraging your existing relationships across the Defence and MSI landscape to strengthen NetApp partnerships across the Defence ecosystem
• Defence Strategy: Collaboratively evolve the vision and message for our engagement within Defence, with emphasis on the role data plays in enabling Defence capability
• Sales Ownership: maintaining strong sales hygiene, cadence, and intimate understanding of the customers business to provide accurate forecasting
• Customer Education: facilitating continued education to customers and partners to ensure their continual commercial and technical knowledge across NetApp technologies and services
• Stakeholder Management: on-going management of stakeholder relationships, both internally and externally, across the sales lifecycle
• Channel Engagement: working closely with NetApp partners to provide business value-based solutions that focus on enabling the execution of the customers strategy

Job Requirements

You will be joining a high-performing, motivated and intimate team who play a pivotal role in the future growth of the NetApp ANZ business. To be successful in this role you will ;
• Possess a proven track record of engagement within Defence, and of identifying profitable new business opportunities, devising effective sales strategies and account plans for key accounts and surpassing personal and team sales targets
• An extensive network with a strong reputation within Defence, backed by strong customer testimonials
• Strive to be a lifelong learner and possess a curious and creative mindset
• Possess both the technical background and business acumen to effectively engage and build influential and productive relationships across all levels of the customers business
• Have established a track-record for analysing your customers business to develop and execute multi-year account strategies which grow revenues within complex environments
• Be an exceptionally strong analytical thinker with strong communication and presentation skills.
• Understand the value of a team and can effectively leverage cross-functional teams to achieve a common set of goals
• Value and enjoy building and maintaining strong collaborative relationships which encourage out-side-the-box thinking amongst your peers
