Job Summary

Cloud Revenue Marketing Strategist  

Looking to join an amazing team? We have an opening for a Cloud Revenue Marketing Strategist for the Americas business at NetApp. Residing in the Americas Marketing team, this senior level role serves a critical function in helping the company achieve its growth goals around this key area of our business. This person collaborates closely with their Sales and Marketing to develop and execute marketing programs to drive new pipeline and growth in targeted accounts for the division.

The Cloud Geo Revenue Marketing Strategists is a business advisor to the Geo and acts as the conduit or representative for the Geo’s Cloud business to all functional areas within Marketing.
The Cloud Revenue Marketing Strategists holds responsibility for: 
•    Development of the Cloud Revenue Market Strategy (all routes to market) for the Geo by working with Geo Cloud stakeholders 
•    Development and articulation of the Strategy Execution Priorities to Marketing functional areas of Revenue Marketing, Reputation, Learning, Solution, Digital stakeholders by working with the Geo Marketing Leader 
•    Development of Geo Cloud Umbrella program in collaboration with Reputation / RM Cloud stakeholders.  Demonstrate clear monetary value to the business  
•    Development of plan for all RTM for cloud within Geo. (Hyperscaler sellers, NetApp Cloud Sellers, Partners (Hyperscaler ecosystem, GTPs, Tech Led Partners) 
•    Collaboration with Marketing functional teams to build a Core Geo execution plan activity-specific goals and outcomes which aligned to the Revenue Market Strategy 
•    Providing guidance to all marketing functions on Geo-specific requirements relating to the customer journey, campaigns, personas, target audience
The Role: 
•    Development of the Geo Cloud G2M strategy 
•    Strategic business consultants and advisors who represent Cloud Marketing for their Geo 
•    Gather and deliver requirements to Revenue Marketing Team 
•    Collaboration with Core Strategists to ensure consistency and reduce duplications / cross over 
•    Deal acceleration: data analysis of Geo pipeline against AOP. Identification of requirements for gaps and accelerate (looking 2-3 quarters out)    
•    Identification of Geo specific macro condition requirements. E.g. DR for hurricane hit areas; Government stimulus activities   
•    Key interface into Revenue Marketing and Reputation to articulate Geo needs for Cloud Umbrella Program  
•    Strategic business thinkers who are the single source of truth of all things Cloud within Geo 
•    Interface into Partner marketing organization for cloud partner activities  
•    Looking at a holistic view of ABM targeted accounts 
•    Interface / linkage to sales leaders 
•    For targeted accounts help to improve relevance of right message to right person at the right time (in collaboration with the Revenue Engine)  
•    Development of marketing plans to enhance Customer Ready Leads 
•    Working back with marketing shared services for Geo demand generation, sales & partner engagement, learning needs  
•    Prioritization of Verticals / segments needs to RM 

Job Requirements

•    Prior marketing experience, including ABM, working directly with high performing sales teams.
•    Experience working within a global team environment.
•    Excellent verbal and written communications skills.
•    Strong, organizational, analytical skills, project management and extreme attention to detail.
•    Ability to work both independently and on cross-functional teams. 
•    Ability to build strong working relationships across all levels of the organization, including remote areas. 
•    Ability to function well in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with competing priorities and tight deadlines.

Typically requires a minimum of 12 years of related experience with a Bachelor’s degree; or 8 years and a Master’s degree; or a PhD with 5 years experience; or equivalent experience.
