Title:  Cloud Solution Architect, GenAI

Job Summary

Position Overview: As a Cloud Solution Architect specializing in Generative AI with a focus on customers and ISV partners, you will play a crucial role in designing, developing, and implementing NetApp AI solutions that leverage our cloud portfolio to solve complex business challenges. You will work closely with customers, ISV partners, and cross-functional teams, including product management and customer stakeholders, to architect scalable and efficient cloud infrastructures that support advanced AI applications.

Job Requirements

Key Responsibilities:

1.    Architectural Design:

• Design and develop NetApp cloud-based architectures for deploying and scaling Generative AI models.
• Serve as a subject matter expert on Gen AI utilizing NetApp cloud offerings during pre-sales engagements.
• Support the technical sales cycle including technical qualification, product and solution briefings, and proof-of-concept/demos 

2.    ISV Partner Collaboration:

• Work closely with ISV partners to understand their requirements and co-develop NetApp AI solutions that meet their needs.
• Provide technical support and guidance to ISV partners during the integration and deployment phases.

3.    Technical Leadership:

• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior team members.
• Stay current with the latest advancements in cloud computing and Generative AI technologies.

4.    Collaboration and Communication:

• Work closely with customer stakeholders and ISV partners to understand requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
• Communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders in a clear and concise manner.
• Work closely with sales teams to understand customer requirements and develop tailored solutions.
• Present, position and demonstrate NetApp technologies, solutions and services to prospective customers, articulating clear business value and strategic alignment to business objectives 

Education

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Proven experience as a Cloud Solution Architect, with a focus on AI and machine learning.
• Strong expertise in cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
• Hands-on experience with Generative AI models, such as GPT, GANs, VAEs, etc.
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Java, or C++.
• Experience with containerization and orchestration tools (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
• Strong understanding of cloud security principles and best practices.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
