Job Summary

The Customer Business Technical Product Manager for Cloud Consumption is an individual that will be responsible for developing customer relationships that promote retention and loyalty. This individual will work closely with customers and internal teams (BU's, Global Services Solution Center, & Service Delivery teams) to ensure they are satisfied with the services they receive and to improve upon areas of concern. 

This Product Manager will have a strong technical background, particularly in Networking, and has a solid understanding of Data Centers within the Cloud space and the SW that defines the Data Center framework. Technical background should include senior level experience with cabling, firewalls, security, etc.


Essential functions include:

Partnering with our customers to deliver predictable storage outcomes and experiences for their clients, and predictable growth for their business, by:

Delivering and communicating ROI for our clients throughout the customer lifecycle through deep understanding of the customers' technical needs, positioning the appropriate technical solutions, and assisting with processes within the customers' environment that enable NetApp to track success and vulnerabilities of the product and/or solution.
Being the trusted partner for the customer on use-case and product functionality
Quarterbacking experiences by various cross-functional teams at NetApp on behalf of the customer


* This opportunity can be located anywhere in the United States, as approximately 70% travel will be required. *

Job Requirements

- Customer Onboarding

- Account Escalations

- Network Engineering

- Enable Renewals

- Upsell Campaigns

- Monthly and weekly customer health checks and meetings

- Customer Advocacy


Typically requires a minimum of 8-12 years of related industry experience with a Bachelor’s degree; or 6-8 years and a Master’s degree; or equivalent combination of applicable education/certifications/training and years of relevant industry experience.
