Join the Commercial Sales team as a Commercial District Sales Manager, leading and managing a sales team across the Commercial sector to achieve allocated sales goals. We are looking for an individual who has a passion for serving customers and is skilled at building internal and external partnerships.

The Commercial District Sales Manager will be a strong sales leader and coach, results-driven, and able to develop long-term strategies and shorter-term sales plans to meet revenue, cloud penetration, and customer growth goals.

Job Responsibilities

  • Develop a district sales strategy to achieve organizational sales goals and revenue.
  • Responsible for pipeline inspection, submission of forecasts, partner/customer relationship development, and customer satisfaction.
  • Lead strategic planning sessions and review account plans with sellers on a quarterly basis. Set individual sales targets for the sales team.
  • Delegate responsibility for customer accounts to sellers.
  • Involve and support sales and post-sales teams to achieve results. Lean into supporting important sales opportunities. Determine strategic accounts where you will become an executive sponsor.
  • Act as a coach, mentor, and educator to all sellers. Keep senior management informed of key issues and changes which may impact expected business results.

Job Requirements:

  • Minimum of 8+ years of overall experience, including 2+ years of relevant people management experience with direct reports.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, including presentation skills. Ability to work collaboratively across internal teams.
  • Experience as a seller with a track record of exceeding assigned sales quotas for contiguous, multiple years. Strong relationship-building and negotiating skills.
  • Strong understanding of storage technologies and competitive offerings in the marketplace.
  • Experience with target account selling, solution selling, and/or consultative sales techniques.
