The Communications Program Manager is instrumental in delivering results across the NetApp global communications team. This impactful role will have a focus on our thought leadership program and help coordinate efforts across both internal and external experiences, industry and PR events, speaking opportunities, industry awards and primary research projects.
The ideal candidate will be able to leverage their outstanding communication skills to work across our multi-functional, global teams and senior leaders within NetApp as well as with our agency partners.  You're a great fit for this role if you are a stakeholder wrangler, a strong communicator, a planner and a driver of collaborative change management processes. Thinking outside the box is a must to help drive our thought leadership program and make it come to life!

Responsibilities 
 You will work closely with our global communications teams, senior leadership at NetApp, our partner agencies, and multiple marketing teams to develop, coordinate, track and deliver our thought leadership program throughout the company.

Jobs to be done:
•    Work cross-functionally across teams to develop execution plans, timelines, and deliverables with stakeholders and influencers
•    Coordinate efforts across stakeholders to manage and produce thought leadership content, e.g., byline articles, blogs, videos
•    Manage activation of thought leadership content via media pitches, press interviews, speaking opportunities and related activities.
•    Assist in the development and execution of various primary research projects and surveys, including associated asset development and content creation, and activation across internal and external channels. 
•    Maintain an ongoing editorial calendar across both internal and external events, speaking opportunities and awards.
•    Prepare regular reports on the quality and completion of team projects & programs 
•    Support improvements to our management tools and associated processes 
•    Ensure accountability against key performance indicators 
•    Pay strong attention to detail, follow through, and multi-tasking 
•    Develop presentations, dashboards, reports and other team and leadership level project communications and documentation  
•    Provide project status information on a regular basis by tracking, monitoring and communicating progress against project plans and requirements

Education

Typically requires a minimum of 2 years of related experience.
