Job Summary

NetApp’s WW Enterprise Strategy team is seeking an experienced and knowledgeable GTM Strategy Lead to join our team and serve as an advisor to our EMEA Country Managers. As a GTM (Go-To-Market) expert, the ideal candidate will play a crucial role in shaping, executing effective strategies and sales initiatives that drive business growth and enhance market penetration across the region. The candidate should have a strong background in GTM strategies, sales programs, GTM analytics.
The role requires both a strategic mindset and the ability to roll up your sleeves. The successful candidate will be passionate about solving problems and partnering across teams and organizations to drive change. You will be an expert in translating the field’s needs and driving changes within corporate to address them and skilled in developing & landing key sales initiatives in the field
Area of Responsibility
- GTM Strategy Development: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to formulate comprehensive GTM sales initiatives, encompassing coverage strategy, product positioning, pricing, distribution channels, and marketing to drive revenue growth.
- GTM Strategy Advisory: Act as a trusted advisor to EMEA Country Managers, providing expert guidance and insights to design and implement successful GTM strategies that align with the company's objectives and market demands.
- GTM Planning: Drive strategic direction by supporting annual planning, segmentation, and resource allocation process for selected EMEA countries.
- Initiative Execution and Support: Act as the interconnect between NetApp’s GTM Strategy and EMEA Enterprise Sales and country organizations. Drive strategic alignment and ensure bi-directional accountability around landing key initiatives in and for the field.
- District Growth Planning and Account Planning: Partner with Sales leadership to develop key district and account growth plans, inclusive of account segmentation, top account targeting methodology, and important execution KPIs.
- EMEA Market Focus: Tailor GTM strategies based on regional nuances and varying market conditions across different EMEA countries.
- GTM Analytics: Leverage your strong analytical skills to monitor and evaluate the performance of GTM initiatives. Provide data-backed recommendations to optimize and refine strategies for enhanced outcomes.
- Market Analysis: Conduct thorough market research and analysis to identify key opportunities, market trends, competitor landscape, and customer needs. Utilize this information to develop data-driven GTM recommendations.
Your Profile
- 15 years of applicable experience preferred
- Keen understanding of GTM Strategy and Sales activities, including: Coverage Models, Sales Plays, Segmentation, Field Enablement, and Incentives.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of collaborating effectively with diverse teams and stakeholders.
- Experience working with EMEA markets, understanding the cultural, economic, and business dynamics.
- Innovative mindset, always seeking opportunities for improvement and growth.
- Fluent in English (additional language proficiency in another European language is a plus)
