Position Overview

As a Treasury Analyst Intern, you will support NetApp's Treasury & Risk organization by assisting with reporting, data analysis, and process improvement initiatives. Working alongside experienced treasury professionals, you will gain exposure to global treasury operations while helping to transform data into meaningful business insights. This role provides an excellent opportunity to develop analytical, technical, and business skills within a collaborative and fast-paced environment. 

You should have the unrestricted right to work in Ireland for the entire duration of the internship. Unfortunately, we are unable to provide sponsorship. You are required to come into the Cork office a minimum of three times a week as part of our hybrid work culture. 

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the preparation, distribution, and ongoing improvement of Treasury & Risk reports, metrics, dashboards, and data models.
  • Collect, validate, and analyze treasury data to identify trends, insights, and opportunities for process improvement in a variety of areas including bank fee analysis, investment portfolio analysis, interest income forecast, Treasury daily reports.
  • Contribute to current key treasury initiatives, and the testing or implementation of treasury systems and reporting tools.
  • Prepare reports, presentations, and materials for business stakeholders and leadership teams.
  • Collaborate with team members and cross-functional partners to ensure the accuracy, quality, and business relevance of reporting outputs.
  • Apply strong analytical, communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills while learning new technologies, tools, and business processes.
  • Use Microsoft Excel effectively; familiarity with reporting and visualization tools such as Power BI or SQL is a plus. 

Your Profile

  • Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Analytics, Data Analytics, or a related field.
  • Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and an organised approach to managing tasks and deadlines. 
  • Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills. 
  • Ability to work independently while also working well as part of a collaborative team. 
  • Comfortable using Microsoft Office tools, particularly Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Teams. 
  • Must have the unrestricted right to work in Ireland for the duration of the internship.
