Job Summary
The Partner Manager is assigned to one or multiple partners and is responsible for driving sales of NetApp's products and services, meeting sales goals, and promoting a preference for NetApp among partners through effective strategy and execution.
Job Requirements
- Strong communication and interfacing skills across various levels within partner organizations.
- Cloud experience (AWS, GCP, Azure, etc.) is strongly preferred.
- Insight into sales processes and motivators for sales professionals (internally and externally).
- Skilled in negotiating and resolving complex situations while maintaining positive relationships.
- Collaborative approach with cross-functional teams.
- Tactical networking abilities to support external business needs.
- Well-versed in the industry ecosystem, including partners and competitors.
- Solid understanding of cloud technologies and business models
Responsibilities
- Craft and uphold a multi-year sales strategy and business plan.
- Conduct regular business reviews for strategic alignment and adjustments.
- Foster the expansion of practices and capabilities
- Coordinate with specialist teams to bolster the partner’s capabilities.
- Lead and engage in activities that contribute to the growth of the partner ecosystem (partner academies)
- Promote understanding of NetApp’s program investments and profitability
- Coordinate joint marketing plan
- Organize and contribute to pipeline generating activities
- Track deal registration, volume, and expiration.
- Align NetApp and partner sales teams.
- Support booking efforts through tactical coordination.
- Oversee the health of the bookings pipeline. (deal review, seller engagement, due diligence)
Compensation:
The target salary range for this position is 137,870 - 178,420 GBP. The salary offered will be determined by the candidate's location, qualifications, experience, and education and may be outside of this range. The range is based on 'On Target Earnings’ (OTE) representing the total potential earnings, which is the sum of the base salary and potential commission earned when performance targets are achieved. Final compensation packages are competitive and in line with industry standards, reflecting a variety of factors, and include a comprehensive benefits package. This may cover Health Insurance, Life Insurance, Retirement or Pension Plans, Paid Time Off (PTO), various Leave options, employee stock purchase plan, and/or restricted stocks (RSU’s).
