Job Summary
NetApp is seeking an experienced Senior Manager to lead the EMEA Workplace Experience (WX) Team. This role, reporting to the Director of WX EMEA & APAC, involves managing local Workplace Program Managers, overseeing real estate strategy, projects, and workplace experience partnering closely with local in country leadership, HR, finance, sourcing, corporate communications and IT/AVVC. The position requires site-based work, remote leadership, and quarterly travel. Key Responsibilities
EMEA Workplace Experience:
- Lead EMEA workplace experience, manage team, and collaborate with employees and global WX team for consistency and curated experiences.
- Operational ownership for workplace experience and facilities operations across EMEA.
- Health & Safety Management, including on-site safe working environment, site walks, fire alarm tests and statutory regulations.
- Financial Management of EMEA opex budget, snack programs, events, and capex.
- Strong vendor management skills, focusing on improvement and value for money.
- Working in collaboration with internal business units to support and deliver on site events/EBCs etc.
EMEA Real Estate:
- Oversight for EMEA lease administration, real estate strategy, and project execution.
- Collaboration with NetApp CRE partners for best practices and risk management.
- Relationship management at operational and strategic level with local asset managers/Landlords.
- Third party vendor management and support of NetApp co working and flex working spaces.
EMEA Partnerships:
- Collaborate with IT, HR, Marketing, Procurement, Tech Accounting, Legal, etc.
- Mentor and enable Training & Development of team members.
- Ensure adherence to NetApp procedures and processes.
- Support NetApp Safety and Security to implement all health, safety, and security standards.
- Ensure all Critical Environment (CEM) requirements are upheld.
Desired Skills and Experience
- Proven track record of leading site-based teams across multiple locations, preferably in EMEA.
- Extensive experience in facilities, property management, hospitality, or related field, preferably in EMEA.
- Growth mindset with a customer-centric focus on engagement and relationship building.
- Financial management experience with cost savings/avoidance.
- Advanced Microsoft Office skills (Excel, Word, Outlook) required.
- Excellent written and oral communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
- Strong people skills and passion for hospitality, connection, and collaboration.
- Knowledge of Occupational Safety requirements & Works Council Relationship.
- Strong English and local language proficiency.
- Proven capacity to understand and interpret commercial contracts and relevant terms.
- Budget management and financial analysis skills.
- Move and relocation management and delivery.
