Job Summary

Technical Support Engineer - German Market

  • We’re busy building our new EMEA HQ in Cork and we’re excited to invite applications to work with us as part of our Level 1 Technical Support Team!
  • We are currently hiring for fluent German speakers to commence on July 15th in our Cork City Centre location!

Essential Functions

  • Providing Technical Support via telephone, web or autosupport.
  • Researching customer issues in a timely manner and follow up directly with the Customers with recommendations & action plans.
  • Collaborating with other Technical Support Engineers who may need assistance working a case; utilise your area of expertise to help them in order to facilitate solutions and most quickly for customers.
  • Escalating cases to other more senior Technical Support Engineers and/or Escalation Engineers when the problem is too complex or falls out of specific areas of expertise.
  • Leveraging internal technical expertise, including higher-level engineers, knowledge base and other internal tools to provide the most effective solutions to customer issues.
  • Creating new knowledge base articles to share information for reuse throughout the Technical Support Centre.
  • Sharing best practices with Technical Support Center staff and learn about new technologies and complimentary storage applications.
