Job Summary

The Global Supply Manager plays a critical role in ensuring a seamless and efficient supply chain, driving New Product Introduction (NPI), supply planning, and data analysis to optimize supply and inventory decisions. This position collaborates cross-functionally with engineering, operations, and suppliers to manage material readiness and inventory strategies, ensuring timely delivery and cost efficiency. The ideal candidate thrives in a dynamic environment, is data-driven, and excels in proactive problem-solving.

Key Responsibilities

  • Participate NPI meetings and Coordinate with NPI program team, forecasting, Contract manufacturers and EMAT sites to ensure materials are available for pilots and full-scale production.
  • Understand the supply chain map and Bill of Materials (BOMs) are structured and are aligned to the supply chain map
  • Create and manage supply and inventory plans, working closely with suppliers to meet demand while minimizing risk and excess inventory.
  • Utilize data analytics to forecast demand, analyze supply trends, and drive insights for inventory optimization.
  • Work with internal teams including engineering, operations, finance, and procurement to align supply chain strategies.
  • Develop strong relationships with global suppliers, negotiate terms, and ensure supply continuity with risk mitigation strategies.
  • Identify and implement best practices to improve efficiency, reduce costs, and optimize supply chain processes.
  • Establish and track KPIs to measure supply performance and drive continuous improvement in inventory and fulfillment metrics.
  • Implement inventory control techniques to avoid excess stock and obsolescence.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives related to materials planning

Education

  • 8 years of related experience in supply chain within electronics industry or server PCBA manufacturing with skills in demand planning, supply planning, inventory management, and/or production scheduling.
  • Experience working for or with Contract Manufacturers and suppliers supporting the production of electro-mechanical assemblies.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, negotiation, and organizational skills.
  • Strong understanding of product and production lifecycle, in particular New Product Introduction (NPI).
  • Track record of driving continuous improvement.
  • General understanding of ERP/MRP, shop floor/production control systems, and bills of materials.
  • Computer and application proficient:  MS Office, SAP/Oracle, SAP IBP, Agile, experience with Tableau or PowerBI a plus. 
  • Program management experience.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to communicate effectively in English
