Job Summary

If discovering insights and telling the story behind the data excites you, we’ve got just the opportunity!  We’re looking for an experienced HR Analytics Lead as a subject matter expert to continue driving transformation across the enterprise applying workforce data.  In this role you’ll draw upon your expertise and knowledge of HR, data science and analysis, visualizations, and storytelling to influence key decision makers both within the HR function and in the business.  
You will work with senior leaders, business partners, and peers across departments and functions using data to drive decisions around processes or programs within HR and lines of business.  You will need excellent communication and interpersonal skills; strong technical competencies; and a consultative and advisory approach to bring insights to customers.

Job Requirements

Essential Functions:
•    Design, release, and continually improve a variety of managerial dashboards, executive presentations, and visualizations utilizing appropriate data tools.  Provide input to develop new KPIs and operational dashboards.
•    Drive the evolution of HR metrics to deliver greater value to the company, enabling insights into the workforce; work closely with senior HR leaders in support of regular business reviews with all levels of executives.
•    Methodically analyze large data sets to distill insights from data and connect disparate ideas into cohesive, well-grounded recommendations using creative, structured and analytical thinking.
•    Create effective, scalable, and easy to understand data solutions (e.g. dashboards) for different audiences and levels of engagement.
•    Willing to dig into details as needed - quick turnaround of ad hoc analytics needs in a dynamic work environment, able to prioritize workload and adjust as business needs require  

•    Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal; ability to convey complex results to non-technical stakeholders in a clear manner
•    Proven planning and organization skills, attention to detail, ability to handle multiple tasks, and work in a fast-paced, time-sensitive, and global environment.
•    Knowledge of statistical techniques including regression, experimental design, hypothesis testing- Experience developing analytic techniques such as: forecasting, predictive modeling, segmentation analysis, simulation modeling, data mining. 
•    Familiarity with the application of AI/ML to analytics.
•    Expert knowledge of MS Office, including Excel (VB, macros, functions, pivots, vlookups, etc), Powerpoint, MS Access.
•    Able to build strong partnerships and collaborate with teammates, business leaders, HR clients, and HR application engineers to solve organizational problems and empower organizations with high quality data and analysis
•    The tasks this individual is responsible are often unstructured and issues less defined, requiring new perspectives and creative approaches.
•    This individual will apply attained experiences and knowledge in solving problems that are complex in scope requiring in-depth evaluation.
•    Demonstrate good judgment in solving problems as well as identifying problems in advance, and proposing solutions.

•    This individual must work effectively with staff to Senior Vice President level leaders within the function and cross-functional partners on assigned projects
•    Able to expertly apply storytelling as the primary means of conveying insights and influencing decisions to business and functional leaders.
•    Must be able to work independently; minimal management direction is provided to employee on new projects or assignments as well as review of activities and priorities.


•    Bachelor of Science, Arts, or Engineering Degree is required or equivalent experience.
•    Minimum 6 years of experience required
•    Hands-on experience with HCM systems and associated data structures, particularly SAP SuccessFactors, PeopleSoft and data marts/warehouses
•    Expertise with data visualization (e.g., tables, charts, graphs) via tools like Tableau
•    Knowledge and experience in implementation of best practices in the reporting space for both systems and processes/metrics
•    SaaS and working with cloud vendors for support
•    Demonstrate analytical and problem-solving skills, and experience applying these skills within complex programs to address business and reporting requirements
•    Solid knowledge of database structures, theories, principles and practices relational, non-relational databases, and columnar databases  Familiarity with SQL desired

Colorado Residents Only: If the Company determines this role will be performed in Colorado, compensation in Colorado
may range from  $110,200 to  $116,000 Actual compensation will be dependent on location, qualifications, experience and other factors, consistent with applicable law.
