Job Summary
We are looking for a dedicated Senior HR Specialist to join our ever-evolving team. Senior HR Specialists play a crucial role within our organization, serving as a link between our employees and company HR practices. Your primary role will be to support employees, managers, and alumni of NetApp by providing an excellent HR service experience across a broad range of HR subject matter areas. Our ideal candidate is detail-oriented, has excellent communication skills, and is well-versed in HR functions and procedures. Our goal is to provide a smooth and friendly service experience while ensuring compliance and confidentiality are always met.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee and streamline HR processes and operations, including enterprise program support, performance management, and employee relations.
- Collaborate with senior leadership to develop and implement HR strategies aligned with business objectives to ensure effectiveness.
- Deliver advisory support and provide resolution strategies for complex employee issues and to managers on employee performance cases.
- Advise on policy changes and their impact on operations and the employee experience.
- Oversee the implementation and optimization of HR systems and technologies.
- Design and deliver training programs to enhance HR team capabilities and employee knowledge.
- Own, monitor, and deliver highly sensitive restructuring or performance management support.
- Provide insights and recommendations on HR metrics and trends.
- Ensure compliance with labor laws, regional audits, and company policies.
- Ensure data integrity and efficient use of HR information and systems.
- Document case details clearly, accurately, and on track with defined service levels (SLAs).
- Assist in ad-hoc HR projects where required.
Job Requirements
- Proven experience in HR roles, preferably in a senior or specialist capacity.
- Strong knowledge of HR functions, procedures, and best practices.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
- Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
- Proficiency in HR systems and technologies.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to provide strategic advice.
- Knowledge of labor laws and compliance requirements.
Education and Skills:
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- HR certification (e.g., SHRM-CP, PHR) is a plus.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and HR software.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
