The Project Coordinator Professional Services will manage customer projects regarding time, budget, quality and contracted deliverables. You are a hands-on individual with a combination of business and technical leadership skills. You will drive the complete PS project life cycle from inception through customer acceptance. This will include resource control of technical staff, communication with internal and external stakeholders and be the single point of contact for sales and our customers.

Daily Tasks
  • Manage project to time, budget, quality and contracted deliverables (including planning, scheduling, milestone reviews etc.)
  • Ability to manage all aspects of projects including planning, estimating, execution and implementation
  • Identify, utilize and manage key resources required to meet project objectives
  • Provide guidance and/or supervision to project team members
  • Identify, pull together and drive project activities of teams and partner sources
  • Drive and/or coordinate architecture, design, and implementation of proposed solution
  • Hands-on skills in managing delivery of small to medium size storage solutions, and driving identified PS business initiatives
  • Drive project reviews for management and customers
  • Manage accounting, invoicing and billing information
  • Adhere to Project Management Office best practices and standards
  • Commitment to build and maintain awareness of NetApp products
  • Lead by example – support efforts to develop and launching PS best practices
  • Liaison with necessary teams within NetApp to achieve above items
Experience & Education

Education: Typically requires a minimum of 3 to 5 years of related experience with a bachelor’s degree or equivalent

Training:  Specific training and certifications associated with Project Management (PRINCE2, ITIL and/or SCRUM) and IT infrastructure know how is a plus.

  • Strong spreadsheet capability and other project management applications as required for reporting, project tracking, project checklists and project scheduling.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with, and to lead and motivate other employees in a team environment to meet aggressive goals and pre-defined timelines.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage relationships and people.
  • Strong verbal and written communications skills in German and English are essential.
