Title:  Information Sys Engineer

Job Summary

NetApp supports approximately 17,000 end users across 60 sites in 22 countries. As an engineering company, many employees research, design, and build software and systems. This role is responsible for the security hardening, hygiene, administration, and ongoing management of the Microsoft 365 collaboration suite, including SharePoint Online, OneDrive for Business, Teams, Exchange Online, Copilot, and Power Platform. Responsibilities include evaluating new features, auditing the platform, and using automation to improve Microsoft 365 operations. This is a hybrid engineering and operations role, with much of the platform’s day-to-day operation managed through code and automation.

Job Requirements

Design, implement, and administer Microsoft 365 collaboration tools, including SharePoint, Teams, OneDrive, Copilot, Power Platform, and Exchange Online.
Participate in engineering project initiatives.
Integrate Microsoft 365 applications with existing systems and third-party tools to improve productivity and streamline workflows.
Monitor system performance, identify improvement opportunities, and implement enhancements that optimize the user experience.
Protect data security and integrity by implementing strong controls and maintaining compliance with industry standards and regulations.
Resolve incidents and serve as an escalation point between IT Support and Security teams.

Skills Needed:

Proven experience as a Microsoft 365 Engineer or in a similar role, including hands-on administration and support of Microsoft 365 collaboration tools. Deep knowledge of Microsoft 365, including SharePoint, Teams, OneDrive, Power Platform, Copilot, Exchange Online, and PowerShell scripting. Strong troubleshooting skills, with the ability to diagnose and resolve technical issues efficiently. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical audiences. Strong understanding of Microsoft 365 security best practices. Curiosity and initiative to learn and evaluate new technologies. Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

You might also have:

Proficiency in PowerShell scripting.
Experience with Microsoft cloud technologies, such as Entra ID, Azure DevOps, and Azure Logic Apps.
Familiarity with Power BI
Microsoft certifications, such as MS-102: Microsoft 365 Administrator Expert, are a plus.

Education

Preferred: 5 years of related experience with a bachelor’s degree, or equivalent work experience.
