Title:  Azure Cloud Sales Lead DACH/EMEA

Job Summary
  • You are responsible to run and manage the key partnerships with Microsoft Azure in your territory (DACH/EMEA)
  • You are managing and demanding joint opportunities in the area of Azure NetApp Files and NetApp Kubernetes Service between the two organizations, and you are responsible that next actions are happening to get joint success and references
  • You are responsible to execute and work on joint pipeline generating activities in alignment with our Cloud Marketing in EMEA
  • You will also take more responsibility to enable the ecosystem (ISV's, NetApp sellers, partners & system integrators) to win with the joint cloud services
  • Based on your expertise you are enriching and enabling scalable and repeatable go to markets hand in hand with Microsoft, NetApp-Cloud Sales and NetApp Marketing team
  • Leading the conversation to get into accounts (existing customers or new customers)
  • Be an expert on the value proposition, unique values, the target buyers and workloads

  • Background in working at Microsoft Intelligent Cloud (Must have) or having a measurable experience in working with Microsoft (Azure is a must have)
  • Would be beneficial to bring a reliable network into Microsoft in Germany, that you can build quick success with
  • Broad understanding/experience to sell PaaS and SaaS cloud services, how to go to market for consumption based services
  • Effective territory/account management: planning, opportunity qualification and creation, stakeholder and executive communication needs analysis, value engineering, services/partner engagement, opportunity management, pipeline management, and large value licensing and deal negotiation 

  • Experience and expertise selling large cloud deals to senior business decision makers by aligning and reinforcing the value of the solution to the customer’s overall business pain and/or strategic opportunities and decision criteria 

  • Ability to solve customer problems with the hyperscaler’s cloud platform, specifically solutions related to new internal LOB apps and external facing apps, migration to cloud, Hybrid cloud, datacenter infrastructure modernization, DevOps/DevTest along with knowledge of enterprise and competitive cloud solutions

  • Solid understanding of cloud computing, business drivers, and emerging computing trends and their impact on customers
  • Success in previous roles selling through or with partners and joint GTM efforts
  • Clear and demonstrated understanding of the various capabilities of hyperscaler’s Marketing and GTM Channels
  • Able to show the usage of our simple cloud services (like Cloud Volumes) as part of the presentations, good understanding of cloud services and how they drive business outcomes for the customer. 

 

Education
  • 5+ years demonstrated sales leadership success, leading high-growth, emerging businesses a plus.
  • Demonstrated success in building and developing high performance teams.
  • Broad company & business experience, especially in go-to-market roles
  • Proven success managing a diversified business, global responsibility a plus.
  • A Bachelor of Arts or Sciences Degree in Electrical Engineer or Computer Science; or related field is required. A Graduate Degree is desired.
  • Background working  preferable in hyperscalers like Amazon Web Services, Microsoft Azure or Google Cloud Platform and understanding the technical concepts of cloud computing.
