Job Summary

The Channel Business Development Manager HCI EMEA is responsible to shape and execute the EMEA Channel GTM strategy and is accountable for the EMEA HCI Channel goal.

This function works cross functional with EMEA Country Channel sales teams and other EMEA and Corp groups toward mutual goals, strategies, and execution of the HCI GTM strategy. Part of deliverables are to create Sales & solutions programs for NetApp partners (with potential eco-system partners), Monitors programs to assess the sales impact of the solution(s) and the overall success of the opportunity. Monitors competitor activity in EMEA & regions and implements strategies to maintain NetApp HCI differentiation and block competitor advancement. 

Key Responsibilities

You will Identify and develop key account alliances and relationship programs designed to produce sales opportunities for and with our partners selling the HCI platform. Interact in a matrix worldwide organization so that you can successfully execute defined strategy and all its components with NetApp’s partner base. Provides reporting and financial analyses, long-range forecasting associated to the HCI business.

Job Requirements
  • Subject matter expertise in HCI and Cloud industry.  Excellent verbal and written communications skills; presentation, customer service, business and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to travel within EMEA.
  • Strong interpersonal and collaboration skills. High energy with the capability to multi-task in a dynamic, rapidly growing organization. Ability to manage priorities and deadlines.
  • A thorough understanding of go-to-market strategies including Channel partner planning, account segmentation, product solutions and marketing strategies. 
  • Broad exposure to a variety of technologies/concepts in a distributed environment. 
  • Limited management supervision and direction is provided since this individual operates and drives results independently & is key stakeholder for HCI towards AREA Channel Leaders.
  • The ideal candidate is a subject matter expert and strongly influences (channel) sales team decisions and initiatives. May also act as a team leader and major decision maker for team projects.
  • Having broad expertise or unique knowledge, this individual uses their skills to contribute to the development of company objectives and principles, and to achieve sales function goals in creative and effective ways. 
  • Is responsible for HCI EMEA Channel strategy and associated goaling. 
  • This individual effectively works with, and influences senior internal personnel within the function, and employees in other functions that support the sales effort, and has direct customer contact. 
  • May successfully coordinate significant projects or initiatives across functional groups. Limited management supervision and direction is provided since this individual operates and drives results independently.
  • The ideal candidate is a HCI subject matter expert and strongly influences sales team decisions and initiatives. May also act as a team leader and major decision maker for team projects with significant interdependencies. 
  • May supervise other less senior members within same function.
Education & Experience

Typically requires a minimum of 10 years of related experience with a bachelor’s degree; or 8 years and a Master’s degree; or a PhD with 5 years’ experience; or equivalent experience.
