Job Summary

In the role of Finance Business Partner, you utilize leadership and financial competencies to advise and support Business Leaders and Senior Finance Leaders by driving financial analysis to support business planning, budgeting, decision making, and performance tracking (both financial and operational metrics).

Your excellent communication skills enable you to present analysis and results to all levels of the organization including senior management. Furthermore, you will proactively work with both the Sales Leadership team as well as wider Finance organization on continuous improvement initiatives on all relevant processes

As DACH Finance Business Partner, you are part of the EMEA Finance team and you report directly to the Director of Finance for Germany. 

In your role you will be primary business partner to the Regional- and District Sales leaders as well as liaise with leaders in other functions. You will proactively support these leaders and impact decision making to drive performance. Additionally you will be deeply involved in the Sales Bookings forecast process as well as in forecast and planning processes for Opex and Headcount, both in close interaction with the Director of Finance as well as the Germany Financial analyst in India.

  4. Planning, forecasting and actuals on Bookings, Operating expenses and Headcount
  5. Revenue Reserves management and Revenue forecast

- Great written- and communication skills as needed to work successfully with staff and managers within and outside of function as well as staff at various levels up to VP level. 
- Strong analytical skills and ability to work both independently in cross functional teams. 
- Ability to function well in a fast-paced, dynamic, international environment with competing priorities. 

- Ability to follow and explain accounting and finance practices and departmental procedures and processes.

- A minimum of 8 years of relevant experience is required. 
- A University Degree, or equivalent experience is required.

- Strong Microsoft Office skills including Excel, Word, Outlook and PowerPoint.  

- Understanding of US-Gaap Revenue Recognition rules (SOP 97-2/98-9, SAB 104 and related EITF releases and TPA’s) is a strong asset

- Experience in working closely with Sales Operations / Go to Market Organization
