Systems Engineering Intern @ NetApp

Systems Engineering

As Intern to the System Engineering team you will provide assistance to manage the lab and demo systems used during the sales process, setting up new environments, maintaining and improving the lab, and controlling the stock of parts and demo systems.

• You will assist sizing storage systems using the company tools and industry best practices, both from the capacity and performance perspective, and providing help to create correct quotes and configurations.
• You will participate in professional services projects, learning how to professionally deploy and administer NetApp storage solutions.
• You will also explore new technology trends and products, like DevOps tools, to investigate their application into NetApp business.

Profile

• Completed a Computer science or telecommunication degree (Bachelor or Master’s), you are eligible for a 1-year internship. Sending a resume in English will be greatly appreciated!

• Graduated in the last 4 years without any previous work experience in the related field of Computer Science or Telecommunication.

• Good written and verbal communication skills both in English and Spanish.

• Good communication skills and flexible attitude.

• Excellent technical skills with background in Linux/Unix systems and IP networking.

• Knowledge of DevOps technologies, like docker, kubernetes ,Jenkins, etc.

• Ability to learn industry language, departmental processes, product specifications and equipment configurations.

Duration

This internship will last for a minimum duration of 12 months and is based in our Madrid office
