Job Requirements
As part of our Information Technology group, you will work closely with a team that supports and enhances NetApp’s worldwide business processes and systems. Our IT Engineer roles vary depending on the team and scope of work, but some potential areas of focus and skill sets may include:
IT Systems:
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Experience with IT systems (applications, servers, networking, etc.) or IT practices (operations, change control, release management)
- Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional and technical team members to support deadlines
- Ability to work independently
- Strong aptitude for learning new technologies and understanding how to utilize these in a customer-facing environment
- Multi-tasking and organizational skills
- Sense of urgency and determination to complete work
Analytics/Data Science:
- Creative and analytical approach to problem-solving
- Project experience in data analysis, statistical modeling, and hypothesis testing
- Working knowledge of one or more statistical analysis tools or languages & related libraries/packages: R (preferred), Python (preferred), SPSS, SAS, etc
- Knowledge and application of concepts important in Machine Learning: e.g., cross-validation, regularization, bootstrapping, etc
Additional Details:

Experience
These are entry level positions typically requiring a Bachelors or Masters degree or equivalent relevant industry experience, excluding internships.
Compensation:
The target salary range for this position is 81,600 - 121,000 USD. The salary offered will be determined by the candidate's location, qualifications, experience, and education and may be outside of this range. Final compensation packages are competitive and in line with industry standards, reflecting a variety of factors, and include a comprehensive benefits package. This may cover Health Insurance, Life Insurance, Retirement or Pension Plans, Paid Time Off (PTO), various Leave options, Performance-Based Incentives, employee stock purchase plan, and/or restricted stocks (RSU’s), with all offerings subject to regional variations and governed by local laws, regulations, and company policies.
