Title: Portfolio Readiness Manager

Position Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and strategic GTM Portfolio Readiness Lead to drive collaboration and cohesion between Product Development, Product Management, Product Marketing, and the entire Go-To-Market (GTM) organization. This role is pivotal in ensuring seamless integration and execution of product and service launches, as well as aligning inbound insights to influence product evolution.
Key Responsibilities for GTM Readiness
Outbound Product and Services Launch Readiness:
- Develop and refine portfolio wide positioning strategies
- Manage product launch components
- Oversee and deliver technical and sales training for new products and solutions
Inbound Insight to Influence Product Evolution:
- Facilitate advisory boards with customers and partners to gather insights
- Collaborate with Field Principal Architects to integrate feedback into semester planning
- Sit on core teams and approve development phase gates to ensure proper intake information and collateral to drive successful GTM
- Understand key data points for win/loss analysis to help seller exploit key winning GTM motions and use loss win/data to enhance products, solutions, and offers
Workload Conversion into Use Case and Sales Play:
- Translate file, block, and object workloads into actionable use cases
- Coordinate with Product, Product Management, and Product Marketing to develop positioning, assets, and pricing
- Ensure seamless handoff to GTM downstream teams (enablement, deals desk, etc.) for critical workloads
- Orchestrate sales plays upstream, including collaboration with Marketing
Collaborate with the GTM (GROE) Leadership Team:
- Elevate the effectiveness of alliances and partnerships
- Enhance the technical expertise of field solution engineers through effective portfolio positioning
- Scope, evaluate, modernize and build the necessary field engineering tools and diagnostic platforms that are used to position NetApp products and services to win in highly competitive situations
QEP Sponsor for GTM CTO Unit:
- Align on all major initiatives within each specific quarter
- Serve as the tollgate and sponsor to the QEP steerco
Education and Experience
Qualifications:
- Typically requires a minimum of 10 years of related experience and a Bachelor's Degree or commensurate experience
- Proven experience in product development, product management, product marketing, or GTM roles
- Strong strategic thinking and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities
- Ability to manage multiple projects and stakeholders effectively
- Experience in translating technical workloads into business use cases
Preferred Skills:
- Familiarity with advisory boards and customer/partner engagement
- Experience in managing product launches and positioning strategies
- Knowledge of sales play orchestration and marketing integration
Compensation:
The target salary range for this position is 207,400 - 309,100 USD. The salary offered will be determined by the candidate's location, qualifications, experience, and education and may be outside of this range. Final compensation packages are competitive and in line with industry standards, reflecting a variety of factors, and include a comprehensive benefits package.
