Title:  Project Manager - Business Transformation Office

Job Overview

The NetApp Project Manager will own and drive strategic, tactical, and cross-functional projects for the Business Transformation Office, part of the Renewals and Customer Success organization. This will include driving technology and innovation initiatives, managing change and risk with business stakeholders globally, and communicating status, risk, and change. This individual will leverage extensive project management experience, combined with deep analytical capabilities and a keen sense of innovation to lead complex projects from end to end. This role requires a strategic thinker with a deep understanding of technology and innovation, excellent project management skills, and the ability to drive cross-functional collaboration.

Key Responsibilities

• Quarterback new or existing projects with varying degrees of complexity from conception to completion
• Orchestrate and harmonize processes, resources, and documentation, ensuring consistency and visibility
• Develop and refine Project strategies, with clear, data-driven objectives
• Evaluate and prioritize projects in conjunction with organizational needs and input
• Regularly cascade risk and progress to Org leaders and cross-functional teams
• Drive operational rigor and execution in ambiguous scenarios

Ideal Candidate Profile

• The ideal candidate will be a long-tenured Project Manager with a minimum of 5 years’ experience

Job Requirements

• A minimum of 5 years of project management experience is required
• Experience working within a business transformation function
• Experience in launching AI initiatives
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, negotiation, and organizational skills are required, along with excellent oral and written communication skills
• Excellent knowledge of product lifecycle, tools (Microsoft 365, Excel, PowerPoint), processes, and operations planning
• Ability to provide leadership in a team environment to meet aggressive goals and predefined metrics requirements
• Strong understanding of engineering principles and practices
• Project Management training or demonstrated experience - PMP is highly desirable
• Ability to work on complex issues where analysis of situations or data requires an in-depth evaluation of variable factors
• Ability to develop longer-range project plans and schedules to complete complex projects
• Experience with Microsoft Power Automate, and or AI agentic workflows is a bonus

Education

• Typically requires a minimum of 5 years of related experience with a Bachelor's Degree preferred
