What we do ?

As an Enterprise Sales Representative in NetApp's Sales team, you are responsible for selling NetApp's entire Product and Professional Services portfolio to a defined territory of existing and new NetApp Enterprise customers in Sydney.

Working in conjunction with channel partners, your overall focus will be expanding NetApp’s existing customer relationships and lines of business, whilst also building relationships and revenue beachheads with new customers in the Brisbane market.

Cross-functional teams from NetApp's Marketing, Systems Engineering and Product Development functions provide support and tools for you to leverage to attain and exceed sales performance goals.

You will utilize your excellent relationship building, negotiating, and strong technical skills to be successful in this role.

What is a day as an Enterprise Sales Representative at NetApp like?

You work directly with NetApp’s partners and customers to create, identify, progress and close sales opportunities, and work effectively across functions with other NetApp employees

Specific areas of responsibility include:

  • Apply your own proven relationship management, account management and business development methodologies to qualify and develop your territory
  • Identify and/or create new lines of business within existing customers, growing NetApp’s existing business in size, revenue, and perceived value. Also building relationships and opportunity within customers who are new to NetApp.
  • Establish operational command of your business and manage sales pipeline to ensure adequate coverage
  • Enhance ongoing communication to maintain high customer satisfaction levels
  • Proactively identify and address support issues in a timely manner
  • Responsible for the creation, implementation and execution of sales plans
  • Regular, and accurate, forecasting and reporting of revenue
  • Maintain and demonstrate both a commercial and technical understanding of NetApp’s products and services in order to appeal to a broad customer audience
  • Provide, or facilitate, training opportunities for your accounts
  • Identify NetApp customer references that can be utilized when reference selling

What do you bring to the table ?

Responsible for expanding NetApp’s relationships and business in existing Enterprise accounts, whilst also developing relationships and business with accounts new to NetApp • The ideal candidate is a subject matter expert and strongly influences sales team decisions and initiatives.

• Strong verbal and written communications skills including presentation skills

• Aptitude for understanding how technology products and solutions solve business problems • Ability to work collaboratively within NetApp, and work collaboratively within NetApp’s valued partner community

• Ability to converse in business relevant terms - capable of discussing the relevance of NetApp’s solutions to the customer’s business

• Ability to convey information clearly and provide analysis as needed to help customers make buying decisions

• Responsible for a specific geographical install base and large, complex, high visibility, strategic, or tactically important accounts

• Conversant in the Datacentre market and associated infrastructures & components, coupled with either Cloud, DevOps or Software knowledge and experience

What is your background ?

8 to 15 years of overall experience is preferred with at least 5 years of successful experience in Enterprise selling or Enterprise Sales roles

Typically requires a minimum of 12 years of related experience with a Bachelor’s degree; or 8 years and a Master’s degree; or equivalent experience.
