Job Summary

Job Summary:

Manages sales directly to the largest Global end-users of the organization’s products or services in the Financial Services Industry segment. This covers the largest EMEA HQ Financial Services customers, and they are covered by senior account teams that cover these customers on a global basis  

Job Requirements

Strong verbal and written communications skills, including presentation skills.

 - Strong relationship building and negotiating skills.

- Ability to work collaboratively with functional peers across functions including Marketing, Sales Operations, Customer Support, System Engineering, and Product Development.

- Strong understanding of storage technologies as well as data services in a multi-hybrid cloud environment, and competitive offerings in the marketplace.

- Experience with target account selling, solution selling, and/or consultative sales techniques.

- An aptitude for understanding how technology products and solutions solve business problems.

- Moved through the ranks quickly, but prior experience as a Sales Representative with a track record of exceeding assigned sales quotas in contiguous, multiple years. - Demonstrated experience working with Sales organizations and technical teams.

- Prior experience with developing budgets and controlling costs.

- A demonstrated ability to manage professional level employees.

 

Interaction: Management:

 

- This level of manager successfully manages subordinate level managers. Management direction includes checking work against objectives set.

- This individual participates with other senior managers in establishing strategic plans and objectives.

- The scope of responsibility for this person includes making final decisions on administrative or operational matters ensuring achievement of company-wide objectives and ensuring that budgets and schedules meet requirements.

- Would take this out as I do not think NetApp delegates these tasks to this level; Has responsibility for overall control of planning, staffing, budgeting, managing expenses and recommending implementing changes to methods. -

This individual owns a major segment of work within the Region with full responsibility for directing and controlling activities with outcomes.

- May participate in building a budget plan, and is accountable for managing to assign budget plan

.- Sets revenue targets and ensures targets are met. Interaction:

- Preferably the candidate has a good network at CxO-level within the customer base in both technology functions but preferably broader in the customer base. This individual must effectively work with and influences executive level employees within and outside of their function, and/or major customers.

- The interactions of this individual require strong people skills, such as negotiating with customers ...

- Candidate has proven record in driving an energetic team and team spirit, attracting talent and keeping these excited. Winning large deals but also coaching, developing and having fun with the team.

 

Education

 

BS/BA degree or equivalent related experience. 12+ years -- plus add additional experience requirements needed if you were to fill an open requisition, i.e., knowledge, skills, and abilities.
