Job Summary

Position Overview: NetApp is seeking a dynamic and experienced Principal Product Manager to lead the development of the Keystone Subscription Engine, with a specific focus on catalog management and onboarding new subscriptions. This role is pivotal in driving NetApp’s strategic growth in the Storage as a Service (STaaS) market, ensuring seamless integration, scalability, and customer satisfaction. 

Job Responsibilities

  • Product Strategy and Vision: Define and execute a comprehensive product strategy for the Keystone Subscription Engine, focusing on catalog management and subscription onboarding. 
  • Catalog Management: Develop and maintain a structured and authoritative service catalog, ensuring all capabilities, service tiers, and configurable options are clearly defined and easily discoverable. 
  • Onboarding Process: Design and implement efficient, automated onboarding processes for new subscriptions, enhancing customer experience and operational efficiency. 
  • Customer Experience: Lead initiatives to embed AI-driven customer interactions, improving velocity, insights, and support through automation and recommendations. 
  • Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with engineering, sales, and marketing teams to align product development with business objectives and market demands. 
  • Market Analysis: Monitor industry trends, competitor strategies, and customer feedback to inform product decisions and maintain competitive advantage. 
  • Performance Metrics: Establish and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure success throughout the Keystone lifecycle, driving continuous improvement.

 

Qualifications: 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Computer Science, or related field; MBA preferred. 
  • Minimum 7-10 years of product management experience, with a focus on subscription-based services and catalog management. 
  • Proven track record of successfully managing complex product portfolios and driving significant business growth. 
  • Strong understanding of the STaaS market and subscription-based business models. 
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and collaboration skills. 
  • Experience with AI-driven customer experience solutions is a plus. 

Compensation:
The target salary range for this position is 207,400 - 309,100 USD. The salary offered will be determined by the candidate's location, qualifications, experience, and education and may be outside of this range. Final compensation packages are competitive and in line with industry standards, reflecting a variety of factors, and include a comprehensive benefits package. This may cover Health Insurance, Life Insurance, Retirement or Pension Plans, Paid Time Off (PTO), various Leave options, Performance-Based Incentives, employee stock purchase plan, and/or restricted stocks (RSU’s), with all offerings subject to regional variations and governed by local laws, regulations, and company policies.
